MassArray (Sequenom, San Diego, CA) was used for genotyping the 13 SNPs in the discovery set using allele-specific matrix-assisted laser desorption–time of flight mass spectrometry by commercial company (Biomiao Biological Technology, Beijing, China). Then the promising SNPs were further genotyped in the validation sets with MassArray (Sequenom).
