The Sequenom MassARRAY platform (BioMiao Biological Technology, Beijing, China) was used to quantitatively analyse the methylation of FAIM2 [NC_000012.12 (49866896 … 49903977)]. The target DNA regions were amplified via polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using bisulphite-modified DNA. Specific primers are listed in Supplementary Table 1.
